CLIENT FOCUS: KITCHEN RENOVATION

This transformation was huge and so fun to see! The kitchen started out as an island in the middle of a large vaulted room, breaking up the space and making everything feel smaller and more difficult to maneuver around. By removing the entire kitchen, relocating the back door and the windows, and anchoring the kitchen on two walls, we were able to create a well-balanced and beautiful kitchen.

A spacious, walk-in pantry was a welcomed addition, as well as a larger coat closet and entryway wall. The large island featuring shiplap-style wooden cap ends provides seating for four. This renovation opened up the room significantly and was optimal for maximizing the natural light already flooding in through the living room windows. The dining room was also opened up to the kitchen to create an open-concept arrangement that will be perfect for entertaining. Phase two will host the addition of a long, built-in, hutch-style serving and beverage station along the back wall of the dining area.
